Jizzakh Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant Project

Our new natural gas combined cycle power plant, currently under construction in Jizzakh, Uzbekistan, will have an installed capacity of 550 megawatts. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the plant will bring Cengiz Enerji’s total installed capacity in Uzbekistan to 1,030 megawatts. The Jizzakh Power Plant will be capable of generating enough electricity to meet the needs of 1.6 million households. During the construction phase, 1,000 people are employed—850 of whom are from Uzbekistan. Once operational, the plant will create 100 permanent jobs, again with the majority of employees sourced locally. The Jizzakh facility is set to play a key role in Uzbekistan’s economic development and the ongoing progress of its energy sector.
